Delete your account.
You can delete your Hestily account and its data at any time: straight away in the app, or by email if you no longer have it.
Delete it in a minute.
- 1Open Hestily and go to Settings.
- 2Tap Delete Account.
- 3Enter the 6-digit code we email you, then confirm.
Your account and data are deleted straight away
No app? Email us.
Write to privacy@hestily.com from the address you sign in with. We'll reply to confirm it's you, delete your account within 30 days (usually much sooner), and let you know when it's done.
What we delete, and what we keep.
- Your profile: name, email, photo and onboarding answers
- Your pantry items, scans and scan photos
- Saved recipes and recipe images
- Diet, allergy and notification settings, and your push-notification token
- Your place in family sharing, and the family pantry data you own
- Your consent to AI processing
- Payment records
Amount, currency, date and plan, because tax and accounting law requires them. Your name, email and address are removed, and the records are no longer linked to you. Dodo Payments, our payment provider, keeps its own invoice records.
- Recipes you shared
Recipes you shared with others stay, without your name on them.
Before you go
A plan bought on hestily.com is cancelled automatically when your account is deleted, so you won’t be charged again.
Yes. App Store plans are billed by Apple and we can’t cancel them for you. Cancel in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the plan keeps renewing.
Email privacy@hestily.com from your Apple ID address and tell us you used “Hide My Email”. We’ll find your account.
Yes. Delete pantry items and saved recipes in the app, and turn off AI processing in Settings → AI features. For anything else, email privacy@hestily.com.
